N-channel MOSFETs form current channels through electrons. Therefore,
when the MOSFET is activated and switched on, electrons can move easily
and quickly through the current. Due to the particularities of n-channel
MOSFETs, at the same RDS(on) value, its carrier mobility is about 2 to 3
times that of P-channel devices, and the P-channel chip size must be 2
to 3 times that of N-channel chips. Therefore, MOSFET transistor
N-channel devices are usually preferred for high-current applications.
